Boys Beating Cancer is not a competitive race, it’s about boys and men getting together to have an enjoyable day of fund raising. However, you can take things as seriously as you like and if you want to race you are most welcome to do so.

 

It may not be absolutely essential to train for this event but we do recommend some prior training for you own health and safety. You can use the following guides to get yourself prepared and a little fitter before the day.

 

There are 3 different 6-week plans available for the 5km Run/Walk, to suit your current fitness level, which you can download below for free:

 

Beginner - 5km Walk Programme

 

Intermediate - 5km Jog Programme

 

Advanced - 5km Run Programme
